Colorado Rings and Sacred Geometry Jewelry now in stock!

Hello all! I am back in Denver, CO making jewelry with the Spoonier team- but have recently gotten around to producing my own line in Metal Wendler for the holiday season. There are many new rings to choose from, all made to your size in sterling silver.

One line I am particularly happy with is the CO state rings, including several mountain ranges, the Colorado Love symbol, and the state flag emblem on wearable jewelry. Wider band rings are available for gents, while I also have thinner bands which are perfect for a more feminine look. Take a "peak" at some of them here (Click any of the photos to see more details in the store!):

Lastly, I wanted to mention that 10% of every sale goes to benefit the La Puente Community Center in Alamosa, CO. My time spent in Alamosa these past couple of years helping my business partner on his land has been insightful into the struggles with poverty in the San Luis Valley, CO. La Puente is a non-profit dedicated to providing emergency shelter, food assistance, homelessness prevention, job training, and much more for the high risk poverty community in the San Luis Valley. The work they are doing here has left a very positive impression on me that inspires me to get involved in whatever way I can. For now that is financially, later- who knows?

Thanks so much for reading, have a great day!

Last Jewelry Project of 2011...

This was a fun project I worked on for a friend. As many of you already know, I work with spoon rings most of the time, where we collect vintage spoon patterns often from the turn of the century.

One of my favorite patterns was a pair of vintage sugar cube tongs that was made to look like bird claws. I made it into a spoon ring and got surprisingly low feedback in our etsy store, so I decided to spice it up.

I happened to have an old sapphire my grandmother had as a loose gem for years. It was practically begging to be used for a project like this. Passed it on to my best friend, and I hope she passes it down to her children someday.

Woot!

Planning on doing more fun jewelry projects soon, keep an eye out!
